Direct Tyre
We are pleased to welcome Janet Aughton, who has taken the position of credit controller in our accounts department.
 
Janet joined the company at the end of October and brings with her many years of experience.

Casing System
We have appointed TRS Factors to manage the collection of all casings removed by our network of service partners when working on behalf of our customers.
 
We have also introduced an added Casing Management system into TAMS, which now includes automatic generation of a Casing Advice Note number and a reporting suite solely based on Casing Management which service partners can log into to manage their submissions.
 
Service providers can now call on TRS to collect all Casings and Major Repairs, which they enter on to the TAMS system via the Direct Tyre Management Web site.

Ringway
After a 9 month successful trial working with 42 Ringway Infrastructure Services locations, we have now been awarded the entire contract for the Ringway Group for Commercial and Agricultural Fleets.
 
The new contract began at the beginning of August 2007.
   
 
 
Wolseley
Wolseley Centers have changed their tyre and tyre service provision to Direct Tyre Management with effect from 23 July 2007.
 
We are now responsible for the entire management and service authorisation for both Brandon Tool Hire and Wolseley Electric Centers, which includes William Wilson.
 
With over 350 locations to monitor and service, we are working closely with National Tyres for the maintenance of the car/van element of the business and our commercial network for the commercial side.

Motor Transport Awards
Each year the Motor Transport Awards brings together the motor transport industry and awards both individuals and companies who have made outstanding contributions throughout the year.

For the second year running we have been the proud sponsor of the champagne reception and we would like to thank those that came and raised a glass with us on 4th July.

Mike Nolan
Mike Nolan joined the team at the beginning of June. Mike is a Commercial Analyst reporting to John Nolan who brings vast knowledge and experience from HiQ. He will be both customer facing and work alongside our service partners to ensure excellent service delivery to our customers.

Commercial Vehicle Show 2007
April marked our second year at the commercial vehicle show. Our stand had quadrupled in size, reflecting our dramatic expansion over the last 12 months. It gave us a excellent platform to introduce both our new and potential customers our team and our network.

Motor Transport Awards
As well as sponsoring the Champagne Reception at the Motor Transport Awards on 4 July, we have also entered an award for Partnerships. We believe that our simplistic and innovative approach to Tyre Management working along side our customers and our service partners has united a network of top service partners to give excellent service and an open management style to the commercial tyre market.

Yuill & Dodds
Among many other contract wins, we started a contract with Yuill & Dodds on 1 February 2007.
 
Working alongside Bandag, with approved Yuill & Dodd / Bandag Service Dealers, we are responsible for the full tyre management and service provision to the Yuill & Dodds fleet for the next 2 years.
   
 
 
Dave Fletcher
We are pleased to announce Dave Fletcher has joined the team to work alongside John Nolan in improving customer accounts and supporting the Fleet Administration team with existing contracts. Dave has over 30 years' of experience in the tyre industry and brings a wealth and of knowledge and experience from both service and manufacturer backgrounds.
 
Dave's role is to analyse current systems that are in place and improve and implement existing procedures. Dave is also responsible for the non-contract work and is currently developing relationships with many of our customers to provide excellent customer service.

Daimler Chrysler
Daimler Chryslerhave been working with us since January 2007. We now service over 20 Daimler Chrysler locations.
 
As our relationship with Daimler Chrysler grows ever stronger, new locations are being added to the portfolio on a monthly basis.
   
 
 
John Nolan
John Nolan joined the company on 22 January 2007. John has over 33 years of experience within the tyre industry. John's previous roles in System Development and Mileage Contracts with ATS Euromaster and Hi-Q, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company.
 
John's role as Account Analyst is to review current customer contracts and implement new ideas to improve existing accounts. John is a valuable member of the team and will work closely with our service partners and customers.
